Julia Adams has been fascinated with antiquing and treasure hunting her whole life. At an early age she was exposed to the art of collecting and to the art world at large. She went on to study painting and design at Brooklyn's Pratt Institute and jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. She then became a dealer of vintage jewelry and designed and made jewelry and accessories.
